Wet n Wild Blushes I Own

Wet n Wild Blushes I Own

I have 2 of the Wet n Wild blushes. I think these are great! I know I’ve been talking about stuff I like lately. Honestly I just haven’t found something I don’t like yet. But also I have gotten rid of some that I didn’t like a while back before re-launching my blog.

Swatches - Top Apri-cot in the Middle  Bottom - Pearlescent Pink

Anyways.. These are the 2 I own. I have the shades Pearlescent Pink (325B) and Apri-cot in the Middle (327B). These are super affordable, and are readily available pretty much in all drugstores including Walmart and Target. The formula isn’t powdery or chalky. Well mine aren’t. They apply/blend nicely onto my cheeks. You can build up the intensity of the blush if you want a bolder blush. Both of these are a satin finish. Pearlescent Pink is a beautiful pink shade ( hence the name) and Apri-cot in the Middle is a nice peach apricot shade ( once again, hence the name lol). They are cruelty free. I know I don’t mention if certain brands are cruelty free or not, but I’ll definitely try to remember to mention it in future posts. They do have other shades that I would eventually would like to get one day. These are fairly good size pans so these will last you a long, long time.
Overall these are nice. So if you are on a budget, then I would recommend going out to get these or even the E.L.F blushes too. I’ll provide links below if you want to get some yourself.

E.L.F Blushes I Own

E.L.F Blushes I Own

I own about 4 elf blushes. I go through phases using these. I recently rediscovered them in my stash and started using them again. I have own these for a while except for the shade Berry Merry. I bought that a few months ago. I do like the packaging. It resembles to the NARs packaging. Which I love! You’ll see what I mean in the pictures below.

Swatches left to right - Candid Coral, Peachy Keen, Berry Merry, Candid Coral

These are slightly powdery, but it’s not that bad. These are a buildable blush which I like. As you can probably tell from the swatches, I did go over them a few times so you could see the color. As you can see I have 2 of Candid Coral. One I have owned for years and yes it’s still good. The other one I bought last year and they both seem like different shades especially when applied to the cheeks. ELF was one of the first affordable brands I purchased from when I was starting out with makeup. Back then you could only purchase them online on their site, but now they are sold at Target, Walmart, and few other places. This brand has evolved over time, and it’s amazing to see them grow. Anyways.. These blushes are just as good as a high-end blush. Like I said before I did go through phases using these, of course everyone does when you have a bunch of different brands you love. Like I said I have rediscovered these recently and started using them again. I love them!

I have already stated as to why I have 2 Candid Corals. Now Peachy Keen is exactly what it sounds like. It's a nice peach shade. Berry Merry is the perfect name for this shade. It's a beautiful berry mauve shade. Looks beautiful on the skin. They last a good while on me. When they do fade, it’s only a little bit. It does not fade patchy either. But its rare they fade on me though. I would have had the make up on til late at night for it to start to fade. I will say these don’t feel so buttery or creamy when swatching them like some other brands do, but these are still good. Better yet, they are so affordable!! If you want to try them out or get more for your collection, I will provide some links below to where you can get them. They have a whole wide range of products to choose from! Some stores have more products than others.

Essence - Blushes I Own

Essence Blushes I Own

Update: Sorry I know I said I would be back to regularly posting daily last week, but I did not anticipate that I would get a severe neck pain last Tuesday. It prevented me being able to take photos and sit at my computer. It hurt so bad to move it. I still have a tiny bit of pain left but its way better. It’s better enough today so I took a bunch of photos for the upcoming posts I have planned for this week. Not sure what I did to have caused it. It wasn’t a crick in the neck either, it was something else entirely. But anyways, back to what you’re actually here for.
So today I wanted to talk about the Essence blushes I own. I have 3 currently. These don’t get talked about much which makes me want to talk about them. I own 2 of the Silky Touch Blushes, and 1 Satin touch blush.

Swatches left to right - Satin Touch -Satin Coral (10), Silky Touch -babydoll (20), adorable (10)

These are so natural looking on the skin. Like you have a natural flush on your cheeks. I love that this come off sheer but you can build up the color to how intense you want it. I will say that the silky touch blushes are chalky and powdery. But these apply really well on to the skin, and it actually looks good on my skin. So that doesn’t bother me. The satin touch blush isn’t powdery at all and feels really nice when you swatch it. As shown in the pictures, I did go over my swatches a few times so you can see what the colors are. Like I said these are a buildable blush formula, which I like.
These are not patchy when applying to the skin, and they last on me all day (probably a good 8 hours or so). The silky touch blushes are matte finish, and the satin touch blush is a satin finish. But really it doesn’t look like satin to me. It looks more like a satin/matte finish to me. The silky touch blush in the shade “adorable” (10) is a beautiful light baby doll pink that is so flattering on the skin. The next one is called “babydoll” (20) is a darker shade of pink with a hint of mauve, maybe berry in it. Which gives you a nice rosy flush to your cheeks. The Satin touch blush I have is called “Satin Coral” (10) which is a soft coral shade. This looks beautiful on the skin. I picked this up a few months ago because KathleenLights raves about it. She was right to! I love it! These are so incredibly inexpensive! So affordable! I want to get more! They also have an incredible highlighter I love too, but I will talk about that one in an upcoming post this week. Here are some links to where you can get your hands on these!

Silky touch blushes – I’m sorry I think they discontinued these. I didn’t know that. But I’ve found alternative one. They are called “My must haves”. These are new. I will get some of these and let you know know they are similar or not. But if you want to try some yourself, here’s the link.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes I Own

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes I Own

There are 13 shades to choose from. I still want more of them! I own 4 full sizes, and 3 travel sizes. I LOVE these blushes!

Top Row - risqué, captivating, amused, exposed
Botton Row - feisty, adventurous, paaarty

Swatches from left to right – exposed, amused, captivating, risqué

Swatches from left to right – paaarty, adventurous, feisty

*Pictures were taken in natural lighting*

As you can see I have most different kinds of nudes, peachy, and pinks shades. I have own Exposed the longest and I use it the most too. I love the formula of these. You can make it as sheer as you want or build up the color, depending how much you want your blush to pop on your cheeks.

These don’t feel creamy to the touch, but they are very smooth. They aren’t chalky or powdery. I love that these look natural on the skin. Like a natural flush, or like you’re blushing, or have rosey cheeks. There isn’t any kickback either. They aren’t patchy when you apply them to your cheeks as well. I love that these lasts all day on me, and they don’t fade at all. When I look at myself in the mirror, getting ready to take off my make up at the end of the day (which is about somewhere from 6:30-7:30. I’m usually ready to wash my face off around this time), I see that my blush is still there.

Like I said before there are 13 shades to choose from. Because the formula is buildable, these can last you a long time. I said before that Exposed is the one I’ve had the longest, and is my most worn blush, you can see from the picture I haven’t hit pan yet. While these are expensive ( I buy them during the Sephora VIB sales), they last a LONG time! The full size does come with a mirror, but the travel sizes don’t. Which doesn’t matter to me since I always have a mirror with me, but it does come in handy if you forget it.

I hope to get more in the future. These are one of my top favorite blushes. Yes I do a few drug store ones ,which I’ll share in another upcoming post.

February 2018 Ipsy Bag

My February Ipsy bag

First off I want to say sorry I have not posted a new post in 2 days. I've been super busy the last 2 days. I've spent Valentine's day with loved ones and Thursday I've taking care of some stuff and trying to get a new job ( No luck yet). But I'm currently looking into being an Avon Representative. Well I'm thinking about it. So if you have any advice or anything please let me know. So didn't have time to work on some posts. But I'm working on several, so it'll be back to normal posting next week.

I got my February Ipsy bag on Wednesday. This month theme is Unzipped. I think the bag for this month is kind of cute. I have already used the bag as my cosmetic bag in my handbag. Anyways, now on to what I got.

Mellow – Matte Liquid Lip paint – Tehran
Estate – Dew Me baked hightlighter – After Glow
It Cosmetics – Bye Bye Undereye Concealer in Light
F.A.R.A.H Large Angled contour brush – purple
Bio Belle – 5 Min Facial sheet mask #Primer

I haven’t tried any of the products yet. But I’m really excited to try these out! I love It Cosmetics, so I was excited to finally receive the By Bye Under eye. I’ve been wanting to try it out but didn’t want to pay full price for it in case I didn’t like it. Now I don’t! LOL

I got a Primer Sheet mask by Bio Belle in a boxyCharm a while back and I still haven’t used it yet. I don’t typically use a mask in the morning. But maybe I should start. I have a lot of masks. LOL. But I’m happy to get 2 more. But I will say that I have tried other sheet masks from BioBelle, and I love them. They always make my skin look so good and so soft.

I love the Farah brush. It’s in my favorite color! It feels so soft, and doesn’t feel stabby or scratchy against my skin. I can’t wait to use it!

I’m not sure about the highlighter. It is very icy lavender. It’s beautiful but it’s not really a shade I go for in a highlighter. But I will try it out regardless to see how it applies, and if I like it maybe I’ll buy one in a different shade.

Last but not least the liquid lip paint. It is a beautiful nude, very wearable. There isn’t a scent that I could smell. I haven’t worn it yet. My lips are so dry right now to wear it. But I have swatch it. It doesn’t dry down very quick, which is nice if you need to clean up around the lip line. I left it on my the back of my hand for about 5 minutes and it still didn’t fully set. So hopefully it will be a comfortable formula to wear. It didn’t seem patchy when I swatch it. I will update how I liked everything in another post.

Overall I’m very pleased with this month bag. Oh! If you don’t know what Ipsy is. It is a $10 a month subscription service that has about 5 deluxe sample size products. But they often put in a full size products, like masks or brushes. I’ll link products below if you want these yourself or sign up with ipsy.

The link is a referral link.

February 2018 BoxyCharm

February 2018 BoxyCharm

I got my Feburary BoxyCharm yesterday afternoon! I’m happy with the box for the most part. This month theme is Galaxy Glow. In case you don’t know what BoxyCharm is, it’s a monthly subscription box that has 5 full size products. The value of the box is usually over $100 and you only pay $21 a month. Which is a GREAT deal!! I would have to say that BoxyCharm is one of my favorite subscription service so far. I’ve been a member for over a year or so now. Most of the time I’m always happy with my box.

So lets talk about what I got in my box this month. As you can see there are some I’m excited for! Here is a list and close up of what I got with their prices.

Naked Cosmetics – Holographic Highlighter Palette - $39.99
CoverFX – Shimmer Veil - $28
Vintage by Jessica Liebeskind – Smokey Eye Pencil - $21
PUR The Complexion Authority – X-Faux Lips Plumping Lip Exfoliator - $17
Crown Pro – Trio Brush Set - $29.99

Total value for this box is $135.98 – I only paid $21!!

I will go ahead and mention that I wasn’t really all that excited for the eye liner, just because I already have several from previous boxes, and some I’ve purchased. I don’t really wear eye liner that often. But I will say I’m excited to try a new brand because I’ve never heard of Vintage by Jessica before. I always love trying out new brands or Indy brands. The card says its by Vintage Cosmetics, but it’s not. That’s an entirely different company. Yes I looked it up. It is actually called Vintage by Jessica Liebeskind. The website is linked below.

I do like some products from PUR so when I saw this lips plumping lip exfoliator I wasn’t sure what to think of it. Never heard of a plumping lip exfoliator before. But I’m excited to try it out. It does smell slightly minty. It’s very subtle.

I do like Naked Cosmetics. I think their eyeshadows are beautiful. But I’m not sure about the highlighter palette. These aren’t colors I would reach for as a highlighter. And they are not HOLOGRAPHIC either. The packaging is holographic, but the powder are iridescent shades. I do see glitter these, so I’m not sure how I’m going to like it. I do see that it says on the card that they are iridescent shades, but the title says otherwise. LOL. I don’t typically like glitter in my highlight. But I will try these out regardless. I don’t want judge it before trying it out. Like they say “You can’t judge a book by it’s cover”. I think I will try these out as eyeshadows as well.

I was so excited to see another Cover FX product in this box! From what I’ve heard this is a fairly new product..I think.. There are 6 shades. It is a mutli-use shimmery crème that claims to be crease-proof. It states that it is suitable for all skin types. The shade I got is in amethyst. As you can see in the picture, it is a beautiful shade! I didn’t swatch it or anything in this box this time because I want to save for upcoming post after I’ve tested these products out. I have another Cover FX product I want to talk about as well. This looks so shimmery in the container. It’s supposed to have a weightless finish.

Last but not least is the Crown Pro trio brush set. I love crown brushes! I have gotten them in several BoxyCharm boxes. They are so soft, and applies products beautifully. So I have no doubts that these will be amazing as well. These are white handle brushes with white/pink hairs, which is new to me. I don’t have any that looks like these. I do have one with a white handle but it has black/white hairs. So I’m excited to add these to my collection and use them.

Overall I’m pretty happy with my box. I will provide links below if you want to try any of these products yourself. They will be affiliate links. I will provide a link if you would like to sign up for BoxyCharm.

Becca Highterlighters I Own

Becca Highlighters / Under Eye Brightener

Today I’m going to talk about the Becca Cosmetics Highlighters I own and the Under Eye Brightening Corrector. I did buy the Champagne Pop and Amethyst. I got Prosecco Pop in a boxy charm box a while back. So I have owned these for a while now.

Let’s about talk about the highlighters first.

These are under 2 different lighting. From left to right these are Prosecco Pop, Amethyst, and Champagne Pop

I love these! I think the packaging is cool too. You can make these natural, subtle highlight or a BAM highlight. The one I use the most is champagne pop. It’s the more wearable one. The formula on these are so smooth, almost buttery. These can be fragile too. So becareful when traveling with these. They can break easily. I don’t travel much. If I do, I usually bring another highlighter instead. These don’t emphazise my pores or texture at all. These give you that beautiful glow to your skin. Not glittery at all either. Well mine aren’t anyways. Here are the swatches of the 3 I own.
Left to Right - Champange Pop, Amethyst, Prosecco Pop

I think these are beautiful! These are one of my top favorite highlighters. I have a few others I love too, and I will talk about them in upcoming posts. Champagne pop is a beautiful soft gold with peach undertones. As I said before I think this one out of the 3 I own is the most wearable. But they have 15 shades, so there are some more wearable than this one. I just don’t own those yet. LOL. Prosecco Pop is a warm gold. This looks better on me in the spring/summer when I have a little more of a tan going on. Amethyst is a beautiful lavender duo-chrome shade. I have worn this a few times and it looks beautiful. It’s not a shade I wear all the time, but I do wear it every now and then. There is a new one and it’s limited edition called Lilac Geode and I want it! It looks so beautiful! I want more highlighters from Becca. I think they make of one the best highlighters in my opinion. Can never go wrong with them. They are always consistent. All 3 of mine have been the same formula. I own the Jacklyn Hill face palette ( it was limited edition and it’s no longer available. I think it’s not available anymore. Which is why I didn’t talk about it.) and the formula is the same. I don’t have any that seem different from one another. champagne pop and Prosecco Pop were in the palette and you can buy those as singles. I would love to try more things from Becca. Anyways, I will provide links below as always. They will be affiliate links as well.

Now as for the under eye brightening corrector, I have used this quite a few times. I have a love/hate relationship with it. But I do like it after working with it. It does as it claims. It does brighten my under eyes. It’s a salmon pink color that works with dark circles. They do have another shade now. Mine is the lighter pink one. This works really well under concealers. Well it does with my concealers I use. But this does crease pretty bad on me, even if I set it with powder. BUT.. I have found that if I bake under my eyes, and leave it for about 5 mins or so, then it doesn’t crease. It will stay put all day. For those of you that don’t know what baking is, its when you apply a lot of powder under your eyes or anywhere else and leave it for about 5 mins or so. This helps set everything in place. It can help clean up your contour or bronzer if you over did it, or leave it under when you do your eye makeup and it will catch all the fallout. Then you can brush it away, and everything looks flawless and clean. I have worn this on its own for no makeup days, and I still bake to set it because I don’t want it creasing. This doesn’t look cakey or dry under my eyes. I would still recommend this!

You can't shop without getting Ebates first!! You can get cash back for shopping!

Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks I Own

Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks I Own

Finally something different to talk about!! I know that’s what you’re thinking. LOL. Well let’s see.
I own 6 shades from the Charlotte Tilbury. Some of mine are from the Matte Revolution line and the Hot Lips line. The Hot lips line has a mix of matte and crème finishes. I love them all! Honestly I love this formula.
These are a little pricey. I have collected these over the course of a year. I purchased these from Beautylish.

These are beautiful! I love the packaging! I love the formula. The smell is amazing! It smells just like the MAC cosmetics lipsticks ( if you have ever smelled them). I think these smells slightly better. LOL.
Here are the swatches of the shades I own.
Swatches left to right – Kidman’s Kiss, Lost Cherry, Amazing Grace, Super Cindy, Pillow Talk, Sexy Sienna

I put up 3 pictures of the swatches in hopes that gives you a better idea of what each shade looks like. It's hard taking pictures of swatches with 1 hand. LOL. I couldn't decide which ones I liked better.

Kidman’s Kiss, Super Cindy is from the Hot lips line. As you can see both are nudes. Kidman’s Kiss is more a pink nude, and Super Cindy is more a nude. Lost Cherry, Amazing Grace, Sexy Sienna, and Pillow Talk is from the Matte Revolution line. Lost Cherry is a red fuchsia. Amazing Grace is tea rose color. Pillow Talk is nude pink. Sexy Sienna is a coral. Well it’s more a coral nude shade to me. The Matte revolution has 12 shades, and the hot lips has 12 shades as well. Each of them are $34 each.

All the shades I own are very wearable for every day. They last a while on me, but yes I do have to reapply. These leave behind a nice stain on the lips, not patchy at all. Well not on me anyways. They do not apply patchy either. They don’t settle in the lip lines or emphasize the lip lines. They feel comfortable on the lips, not drying at all. I hope to eventually get more shades. I would love to try more from the Charlotte Tilbury line one day. I will provide links to where you can get these.

Colourpop – Ulta Glossy Lips I Own

Colourpop – Ulta Glossy Lips I Own

Today I’m gonna talk about the Colourpop Glossy lips. Yep, Colourpop once again. Sorry. LOL. Don’t worry I have other posts coming up that won’t be about Colourpop. I LOVE these!

As you can see I own 6 shades. You can see I’ve used 1 more than the rest. LOL. The name has pretty much rubbed off. The one I use the most is Aquarius! It’s just the perfect pinky nude on me. I LOVE it! I’ve already got a backup of this one. My 2nd most used is Bestie. It’s a really nice nude with a slight peachiness to it.  Here are some swatches of all the ones I own.

Swatches Left to Right - Finders Keepers, Master Plan, Bestie, Nine to Five, Wishes, Aquarius
I'll describe each shade the best that I can. LOL..I'm not really good at that. LOL.
Finders Keepers is a cream formula that is a mid-tone mauve. Master Plan is a creme formula that is beautiful mid-tone purple. Bestie as I described earlier is a creme nudie with some peachiness. Nine to Five is metallic finish that is like rose gold copper. Well that's what it looks like to me. Wishes is anther metallic finish with some pinks and purples. It's beautiful and it's sheer. So it actually looks nice on and not crazy. Last but not least is Aquarius, which I said before is a pinky nude.  There are several different finishes for these glosses, which is nice. But unfortunately if you wanted Wishes, Nine to Five, and Master Plan they are not available anymore. But Colourpop has a good selections of shades so I'm sure you will find one you like. Plus they just released a few new ones today.

These are so comfortable, smooth, creamy, and not STICKY AT ALL!! They last a good bit on me but yes I do have to reapply throughout the day. But I actually don’t mind that at all. These leave a nice subtle stain on my lips. These have nice pigment to them. The formula of these are so nice. Like I said, they are smooth and creamy. With these you don’t have to worry about your hair sticking to the gloss. LOL!! Well, at least I don’t worry about that.

Overall I love all the ones I have. Before I forget to mention, the formula has always been consistence so far. I haven’t had any misses. Meaning the formula wasn’t different in any of the shades I own. I can’t wait to get more eventually. So I highly recommend these, if you love glosses!

Colourpop - Custom 12 pan palette I Own

Colourpop - My 12 Pan Custom Eyeshadow Palette

This is my custom 12 pan eyeshadow palette I own from Colourpop. Right now I only have 11 shadows in it. I’m currently looking for that perfect brow bone highlight shade from them. I saw several but haven’t made up my mind which one I want or might get them all. LOL. I just can’t get them right now. Which is fine. I have other shades in other palettes I own that I use. I LOVE Colourpop’s pressed shadows. They are so good for the price.

They are $5 each. If you buy 4 or more, you’ll get a free 4 pan palette. They have new packaging for the 4 pan palettes. They are beautiful! Or you can buy a 12 pan or bigger if you want to fit more shadows or put powder blushes even. I plan to buy a bigger palette eventually so I can get some powder blushes and put them in there.

The shades I own are Sauvage, Ready or Yacht, Salt Water, Ego, Liar Liar, Come and Get it – which are my frost finish shades, and the matte ones I own are Firefly, Made to Last, Soft Core, Labyrinth, and Secrets.  These were in no particular order. Here are the swatches of the shades.

Swatches - Frost shades (some shades has little glitter)
Left to Right - Sauvage, Ready or Yacht, Salt Water, Ego, Come and Get it, Liar Liar

These are under 2 different lighting in hopes to show the true colors of them. They are more beautiful in person.
The frost shades are so pigmented. You can use a brush to apply them as normal..OR..You can use your finger to make them pop, or you can get some product on the brush then spray it with some Mac Fix plus or whatever you have then apply it. It’s even more pigmented on your lids. It’s beautiful all 3 ways.

Swatches top to bottom - Secrets, Firefly, Made to Last, Labyrinth, and Soft Core

The matte shadows are so soft and so pigmented. They are not patchy whatsoever when I apply it to my lids. Colourpop’s pressed shadows lasts a long time on me without fading. They don’t crease on me either, but I do wear an eye primer. They also have already made palettes too. I have 2 of them which I will talk about those in an upcoming post. There are so many palettes that I want from them! I love that they are so affordable! They do sales or give out coupon codes occasionally. So keep a look out for those if you want to make a large purchase. I highly recommend Colourpop. You just can’t go wrong with them. My collection is slowly growing. Once again I will provide a link to where you can purchase these. I’m not sure if all shades are available. They just recently got rid of some. But I think most of them are still available. These custom palettes or pre-made palettes are great for traveling too because they have slim packaging. I hate bulky packaging. LOL.

BareMinerals Gen Nude Buttercream Lip Glosses I Own

BareMinerals Gen Nude Buttercream Lip Glosses I Own

I own 2 shades from this line. The title pretty much describes the formula. These do feel like a buttercream on the lips. These aren’t sticky, and very creamy. These 2 I own don’t settle into my lip lines, and don’t feather out of my lines either. There are 15 shades in this line. Here are the 2 I own.

Swatches - Left - Cosmic   Right - Heartbreaker

Once again, they are pink and nude shades. Hence the title. I do have to reapply throughout the day, but at the same time they do last a while without eating or drinking. They leave behind a very subtle stain to my lips. They are very comfortable on the lips since they are a gloss. These are one of my favorite glosses. I have a few other brands that I will talk about later that I love as well.

I hope to get more colors in the future, and that BareMinerals will expand the color range as well. So if you are a gloss person, then get yourself some of these. As you can see from the swatches they are very pigmented. They do give off your lips look wet kind of look, and yes that looks flattering to an extent. Don’t glop it all on either, otherwise it will look terrible and stringy when you talk. I’ve seen so many people just apply layer after layer, and I’m like “ugh!”. There is no reason to glop it on. Just one application is good enough, and looks so pretty on the lips.

If you want to get your hands on these, I’ll provide several links below to where you can get them.
