Jewelmint / Fowler Sister Set Review

I heard about Jewelmint through Elle and Blair Fowler. They are makeup gurus on youtube. I’m sure everyone is familiar with them. Anyways, after hearing them rave about Jewelmint I decided to check them out myself. I actually saw quite a few pieces of jewelry I wanted, but haven’t made a purchase. One day I saw a tweet from the Elle and Blair about the Fowler Sister Set #1 deal. I saw it and immediately had to have it! I also purchased the Ganesh Earrings ( which I love too!! ) Jewelmint also has another piece that I desperately want. But I’m waiting on another paycheck before purchasing it. Hopefully it will still be available by around that time.

As you can tell it is a beautiful set. Jewelmint is a great company to invest in when wanting a unique piece of jewelry. Jewelmint is owned by Kate Bosworth and Cher Coulter. You can become a member, and won’t be charged monthly for it. You can opt to skip a month if you don’t find anything you want. If you happen to come across a piece of jewelry you want during that month, you can still purchase it. All pieces only cost $29.99 each. Their shipping is pretty fast. I got my order in about a week. You can earn credits by inviting friends, and family. You can use credits to purchase any piece you want. Which is great!

Anyways..Back to the Fowler Set…

The Fowler set comes with Versailles Earrings, Blazing Chain Bracelet, and Pearl Fleur Necklace. But Pearl Fleur Necklace sold out so fast, they replaced it with Antoinette Necklace (which is a beautiful piece). I fell in love with this set! I really love the bracelet it came with. I’ve had quite a few compliments on them so far.

                                                   Pearl Fleur Necklace

The Pearl Fleur Necklace has a delicate silver chain with a pretty big size pearl ring. It was quite beautiful. I think you could even wear the ring too! LOL…This necklace has a big pearl right in the middle, with rhinestone diamonds surrounding it. It is beautifully shaped.  I love it!

                                                   Blazing Chain Bracelet

Umm..What is there not to like about this piece? Absolutely nothing! I have worn this a lot, and gotten quite a few compliments on it. I really love it! This bracelet has  a green chain, grey chain, and a pink ball chain. On the pink link it has a ball rhinestone diamond, and the green link has a rhinestone link in the middle. This is a heavy bracelet, but it is not overwhelming. It is comfortable to wear.

                                                    Versailles Earrings

One thing I want to say first is that the picture did not do justice on this piece. My camera decided to act crappy. Anyways, this piece is so beautiful, and a little bit heavy. It is still comfortable to wear them. They don’t pull on my ears. These earrings goes with any beautiful outfit. It has different sizes and shapes of rhinestone diamonds all over. Which makes it so beautiful.  Love it!

                                                    Ganesh Earrings

These are one of my new favorite pairs of earrings. I have worn these a lot too. I’ve had tons of people asking me where I get them. Of course I tell them  Jewelmint!!  :D… This piece has a gold chain ( and whatnot ), with purple stones. The stones are like hard plastic, but not the cheap kind. If you know what I mean.  These are fairly long too. You will love this piece. Of course I got it for $29.99..

Sigma Makeup Hollywood Glamour Kit - Princess Grace

Sigma Makekup has several different kinds of the Hollywood Glamour kits. They have Something about Marilyn (Red), Breakfast with Audrey (Black), and Princess Grace (Pink). Of course, as you can see I have Princess Grace. I love this kit, and the color. Normally I am not a pink fan, but I love it. Sigma has me falling for the color pink. Pink is now on my list of favorite colors, but purple will always be my number 1. Now let's get back to what we are really here for.

The Hollywood Glamour Kit in Princess Grace contains a pink retractable kabuki brush, and beautiful Sigma Makeup bag ( it's a large enough bag to fit a lot things in.), cute pink dazzling compact mirror. You also get a free gift which is the traveling E35 brush. When I bought mine, I also got an free eyeshadow in Indian girl. I think it might still come with it. I am not sure.

You can use the kabuki brush for anything. You can use it for mineral, liquid, powder foundations. Also for any types of blushes. Though, I dont know how well it would work with a cream blush, but it might work. The bristles of the brush is so soft, and blends the foundation so flawlessly. It doesn't scratch or poke your skin. It doesn't make your touch-ups look so cakey on your skin. This brush can easily fit in your makeup bag, purse, or anything. But I wouldn't try fitting it into your pockets. It will not fit. lol..This is such a cute brush to be carrying around.

A lot of people, myself included use this method I am about to mention. Instead of carrying around a brush and a powder foundation for touch up. Just simply load up the powder on the brush, and close it up. So it is ready for use when you need it. I saw this on youtube, and other beauty gurus will say this too. So this kit is really handy to have. It has the simple essentials you need for if you are going out shopping or whatever for those touch-ups moments.

The compact mirror is a heart-shape mirror with pink rhinestones. It comes in a black velvet bag with the Sigma label. When you open it up, it is a double mirror. Which is great. It is a beautiful compact mirror, and I absolutely love it. I use mine all the time. I get so many compliments. You will love it too.

Covergirl Natureluxe Lip Gloss Balm

Covergirl has a new line, it has been out for a little while now. It is called Natureluxe. They have it in foundations, and lip balms. I have the foundation, I haven't tried it out yet. But I am really loving the lip balm so far. I have been using for about 2 weeks now. The color I got was in 215 hibiscus hibiscus. It was a really weird name. Covergirl Natureluxe Gloss Balm contains a lightweight blend of mango, shea butter, and other natural butters used in place of heavier feeling emollients.

It is a nice dark pink color. It goes on kinda sheer, but it is buildable. It had a little bit of a gloss feel. This is basically a tinted lip balm. It made my lips feel very moisturized. On me, the color gave my lips a little bit of a stain color after eating or drinking. It doesn't dry out my lips at all. After applying it, it has a good staying power. It lasts on me for about 4 hours or more. That is with drinking, and talking. Of course, when eating, it will rub off on your napkin. This does have an SPF of 15. Which is good.

left swatch - I build it up with about 5 or more swipes.. right swatch - about 2 swipes. 

      It is a little bit darker than what the picture shows. I had a problem with the lighting.

I think the packaging is kinda cute. It is a light green tube with dark green design ( looks like a leaf to me.) The cap is clear so you are able to see the color of the lip balm. I plan on getting some more of these. I really love this. I have been using it a lot. They have a variety of colors to choose from. You can get this at any drugstore, and online. It is about $6.00 depending the store. Soon as I try out the foundation, I will do a review on that.

New Favorite Nail Polish - OPI " Dating a Royal"

OPI- Dating a Royal

This is my new favorite color polish. It is a beautiful dark blue. I have few blue nail polishes, but this color tops them all. Although, I don’t like the formula of this one. It was kind of too watery. I don’t know if it just my bottle or they are all like that. I have other colors from OPI, and the formula is different. For me I had to do 3 coats. You can get away with 2, but I did 3. Then I topped it with Seche Vite top coat. Which I love! 

On the picture, it shows almost the true color. Anytime I change my nail color, it always seem to be my new favorite. LOL.. I have a crazy pile of nail polishes. I have OPI, China Glaze, Zoya, and several miscellaneous ones. But today I am reviewing OPI- Dating a Royal. It truly is a beautiful color. I got this on sale for about $5 or $6.

I recently just purchase the new Zoya collection. Umm, I forget what it is called. But it is from the spring collection. As soon as I get it and try them out, I will be reviewing them too.

Sigma Makeup Review

What can I say about them? Well for starters, they are AWESOME!

There brushes are very inexpensive, very affordable. The brushes are excellent quality and will last you a long time. I had mine for over a year now, and I don’t have to replace any time soon. They are still so soft, and apply and blend products so well. I’ve had to replace my Mac ones once or twice. What else is great, you can customize your own brush kits to however you want. You can pick your own brushes for your kits. Last year sometime I had purchase their eye shadows also. They are so beautiful, and apply and blend so beautifully. Here are some pictures of what I have of their products so far. This is the complete brush kit, it sells for $99. It comes with the brush roll.

As for the makeup line, it is no longer there. BUT, I hear they are creating a new makeup. I am not sure when It will release, but I hope it is soon.  Here are some pictures from their makeup line before. I didn’t have all of them, but a few. I use them a lot too. You will see a nars blush. But the sigma blushes are on the right side. Beautiful colors, I love them, and use them quite a few times since taking this picture.

They have new brush kits available in 4 different colors. They come in a container, that becomes 2 brush holders. They are great for personal use, traveling, or even use them for your professional makeup kit.

I don’t own any yet. I am saving up to get some. As soon as I get them, I will review them. Here is a picture of what they look like..
