Annie is a realtor and lives in a nice house with her dog Emma. One day she is doing an open house, and it's been a slow opening. Just as she was getting ready to leave, someone pulled up. He seems interested in the house, and she shows him around. Then the unthinkable happened. He abducted her. She spent a year with a psychopath at a remote cabin. Annie talks about what happened to her psychiatrist. Hoping the truth would set her free..But does it really? 

I read this on my Kindle. It's on Kindle Unlimited. I put off reading this for so long. But finally decided to read it..Wow..There are mixed emotions about this one. This was a hard book to read but it was good. It did keep my interest, wanting to know more... I don't know where to begin. I can't imagine anyone going through what Annie went through. If you have, just know you are a strong person. You went through something no one should and came out of it a stronger person..This man is so horrible!! He abducted Annie, an innocent woman, and made her life a living hell. I won't go into any kind of detail what she went through. If you have any kind of trigger, please be warned. There is a lot that can trigger someone in this book. So please be cautious when deciding to read this one. Then after Annie escapes, she tries really hard to piece her life back together and figure out who the person was that abducted her and who was behind all of this. This book goes back and forth between what was happening to Annie when she was abducted, and after she escapes. It doesn't get confusing when it goes back and forth. The story of her time with "The Freak" as Annie calls him is being told during the sessions with her psychiatrist.

New Handbags! Review

So I bought a new handbag a few days ago from Amazon, and I'm loving it so far. It can fit everything I need it to. It comes with a wallet already built in. According to Amazon's site, the wallet has the technology to protect your cards from being scanned. It has 1 big exterior zipper compartment with a small zipper compartment on the inside, and 2 side exterior zipped compartments. 1 side is a built-in wallet with technology as I said, and the other side is another zip compartment you can put your phone or whatever. It is big enough to fit my Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra, and I can fit my Kindle just fine. It is faux leather, but it feels nice. The zippers feel nice too, and I don't have any issues opening or closing so far. I think it's good quality considering it's super affordable. This bag does come in 5 different colors, but I didn't care for the other colors. But right now 4 colors are available. It seems that the pink one was removed. I guess it's out of stock or something.

I loved this one so much that I tried to find a similar bag that had more of a variety of different colors for Spring and Summer. I did find several and went with the FashionPuzzle one. I have several colors I want and put them on my list. I ordered the lavender. It's so pretty. The only thing that is different is the strap, and there isn't a wallet built in, which is all fine with me. I'm considering buying a fun strap to replace the strap eventually. Both bags fit everything I need it to. I don't carry a lot. There are a total of 30 different colors for this bag. The quality of this one is really good too, and the zipper works great, no issues so far. I really want to get the Fuchsia color and a few others. There are a few colors like orange, dark purple, and a few others that I would want for fall. So they are on my wish list. So if you're looking for a new bag, but not really wanting a big one then check these out. As I stated before my Kindle Paperwhite Signature and my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra can fit in both bags just fine. The exterior side zip pockets can fit my phone just fine as well.

Dr. Adrienne Hale, a psychologist owned a big house in the middle of nowhere. This is where she saw her patients as well. One day, she disappears without a trace.

Tricia and Edward, who are newlyweds are wanting to take a look at the house which used to be owned by Adrienne Hale. Tricia and Edward are stuck at the house due to a winter storm. While trapped, Tricia goes looking for a book to keep herself occupied, only to discover a secret room behind the bookcase. The room is filled with cassette tapes of all Dr. Hale's patients.

Tricia listens to them 1 by 1 as she figures out what happened to Adrienne.

I read this on my Kindle. It's on Kindle Unlimited, so you can read it for free. This is a psychological thriller. It caught my interest from the first page. I never felt bored reading it. I was sucked into the story every time I got my Kindle to read. This will be another book I want for my shelf. I have a feeling that I will want a physical copy of every Freida McFadden book. LOL. After reading this for a bit, I started to my have theories, but each time I was proven wrong. I don't think I really saw the twist coming, but I should have! This is the 4th book I've read from Freida, and once again I really liked it.

Sarah and Chloe inherited a Manor and money from an uncle they don't know. Chloe, her husband Andrew, their infant daughter Emma, and Chloe's sister Sarah all move in together. The house is plenty big for all of them.  After moving in, the sisters experience odors, cold spots, whispering, and the sensation of being watched. Sarah just brushes it off as she doesn't believe in the paranormal. They found a room that seems to be an occult room, among one of the items in the room is an odd book in Latin. Will they figure out what's going on with this house? Is it related to the history of the house? Will they figure out what happen to them as young girls when they lived in the house back in 1982 and abruptly left?

This is currently on Kindle Unlimited, so I was able to read it for free. I won't lie, the cover of this book really drew me in. So I click on it to learn what the book was about. It was definitely up my alley. This book was giving me the creeps the whole time I was reading it. I was hooked from the very beginning. If you like a good paranormal, creepy vibes, then this is the book for you. I really enjoyed reading it!! After the family moves in, only Sarah, Chloe, and the baby girl Emma were experiencing things. Well minor things, like banging on doors. Andrew was gone often due to work. Chloe starts to see and experience strange things. Sarah has been acting somewhat strange. Well, she's been kind of weirdly obsessed with the study along with the strange Latin occult book. Then she starts to sleepwalk, as Chloe mentions. Emma keeps saying "man" on occasion when there wasn't anyone there. No one believes Chloe of the things she's been seeing. A man named David tried to warn Sarah about the house, but she dismisses him. Chloe did too when they run into him in town. Things are getting worse with Chloe. Will Edward and Sarah ever believe her about the house? Well, you're just going to have to read it to find out. There are 6 books in the series. From what I could tell, the first 3 books are based on Perron Manor. The other 3 use some of the same characters and are sent to investigate locations.

If you're wanting a Kindle, now is the time to get one. They are on sale on Amazon! I don't know how long the sale will last, so take advantage while you can!
I own the Kindle Paperwhite Signature and I absolutely love it! It's worth the purchase. I still love my physical books. I alternate reading physical books and my Kindle. I love that it's travel friendly. I purchased it when it was on sale for Valentine's Day. I got the 32GB because it was cheaper by $10 than the regular Paperwhite 16 GB at the time. 8GB or 16GB or even 32GB can hold thousands of books, but of course, each one will hold a bit more than the others. You can choose what color you like for any of the Kindles. You have to option to choose if you want 3 months free of Kindle Unlimited if you don't already have a subscription. I do, and it's worth it in my option.
All Kindles are waterproof, so you can read in the bath or by the pool, or even at the beach/lake. The Paperwhite Signature, Kindle Scribe, and Kindle Oasis are the only ones that have auto-adjusting light. The Kindle and Kindle Paperwhite do have adjustable light, but you have to do it yourself.
The battery life is great. For mine, it can last 2 to 3 weeks or longer before I have to charge it again. They state the battery life can last up to 10 weeks. They do recommend that you do not let the battery die completely, it causes issues from what I've heard in my book groups.
