Becca Highlighters / Under Eye Brightener
Today I’m going to talk about the Becca Cosmetics Highlighters
I own and the Under Eye Brightening Corrector. I did buy the Champagne Pop and Amethyst.
I got Prosecco Pop in a boxy charm box a while back. So I have owned these for
a while now.
Let’s about talk about the highlighters first.
These are under 2 different lighting. From left to right these are Prosecco Pop, Amethyst, and Champagne Pop
Left to Right - Champange Pop, Amethyst, Prosecco Pop
I think these are beautiful! These are one of my top
favorite highlighters. I have a few others I love too, and I will talk about
them in upcoming posts. Champagne pop is a beautiful soft gold with peach
undertones. As I said before I think this one out of the 3 I own is the most
wearable. But they have 15 shades, so there are some more wearable than this
one. I just don’t own those yet. LOL. Prosecco Pop is a warm gold. This looks
better on me in the spring/summer when I have a little more of a tan going on. Amethyst
is a beautiful lavender duo-chrome shade. I have worn this a few times and it looks
beautiful. It’s not a shade I wear all the time, but I do wear it every now and
then. There is a new one and it’s limited edition called Lilac Geode and I want
it! It looks so beautiful! I want more highlighters from Becca. I think they
make of one the best highlighters in my opinion. Can never go wrong with them.
They are always consistent. All 3 of mine have been the same formula. I own the
Jacklyn Hill face palette ( it was limited edition and it’s no longer
available. I think it’s not available anymore. Which is why I didn’t talk about
it.) and the formula is the same. I don’t have any that seem different from one
another. champagne pop and Prosecco Pop were in the palette and you can buy
those as singles. I would love to try more things from Becca. Anyways, I will
provide links below as always. They will be affiliate links as well.
Now as for the under eye brightening corrector, I have used
this quite a few times. I have a love/hate relationship with it. But I do like
it after working with it. It does as it claims. It does brighten my under eyes.
It’s a salmon pink color that works with dark circles. They do have another
shade now. Mine is the lighter pink one. This works really well under
concealers. Well it does with my concealers I use. But this does crease pretty
bad on me, even if I set it with powder. BUT.. I have found that if I bake
under my eyes, and leave it for about 5 mins or so, then it doesn’t crease. It
will stay put all day. For those of you that don’t know what baking is, its
when you apply a lot of powder under your eyes or anywhere else and leave it
for about 5 mins or so. This helps set everything in place. It can help clean
up your contour or bronzer if you over did it, or leave it under when you do
your eye makeup and it will catch all the fallout. Then you can brush it away,
and everything looks flawless and clean. I have worn this on its own for no
makeup days, and I still bake to set it because I don’t want it creasing. This
doesn’t look cakey or dry under my eyes. I would still recommend this!
