My Current Favorite Hand Creams

My current favorite hand creams that I’ve been using lately are the Caudalie Hand & Nail cream and the Ahava Mineral Hand Cream. I’ve been using both a ton lately. I use the Ahava hand cream during the day, it’s been on my desk since I got it a while back. I got this in my Winter FabFitFun Box. I use the Caudalie one at night when I go to bed. It’s been on my nightstand since I bought it. I bought it at Sephora. My hands are always sooo DRY!! They would get so dry, flaky, and at times really red. They would crack sometimes. It wasn’t a pretty picture. LOL!  I wash them all the time. So I always have some sort of lotion on my desk. Some I’ve liked, and some I’ve hated. But these 2 are my top favorites so far! These have been a god send! Also which I think might be helpful to some people, I will list the ingredients in both hand creams.

I’m working on taking better photos! LOL

Caudalie Hand and Nail Cream (2.5oz)– I bought this from Sephora a few months ago. I finally got around to using it back in Nov 2017. I wanted to use up the previous hand creams I had before opening a new one. This has such a nice creamy, smooth texture. It has a nice earthy, maybe herbal smell to it. I like it, but I can see some people must be put off by it. The smell doesn’t linger around long. For me it the smell disappears after a minute. It absorbs so quickly! It doesn’t leave a greasy film on my hands, and lasts a long time. When I wake up in the morning, my hands feel soooo soft! As you can see I’ve already use quite a bit of it. This can be a little pricey, but I did purchase this during a VIB sale. So I’m not paying full price for it. This is parabene, phenoxyethanol, phthalates, huiles minerals, sodium laureth sulfate free. It is 98% natural-origins ingredients. Also animal cruelty free! It is rich in anti-oxidant grape pholyphenois, avocado and shea butters. This cream claims to nourishes, protects and repairs dry hands without leaving a greasy film. Which it does all of that for me. I love it! Highly recommend!

You can purchase this at Sephora or from their site – links provided below

Ahava Minteral Hand Cream (5.1oz Limited Edition special size) – I received this in my winter 2017 FabFitFun box. This is such a nice luxurious hand cream! The texture is pretty similar to the Caudalie one. This doesn’t leave a greasy film as well..But.. It does like your hands feeling like silk! My hands feels like velvet smooth. Weird, I know! But that’s a good thing! It has a wonderful pleasant scent as well. I can’t really explain what it smells like. I’m horrible at explaining scents! LOL. But I’ll try.. To me it smells almost spa – like. It has dead sea water which might contribute to the smell. This is great for sensitive skin, and it is paraben free. It does contain witch hazel which helps calms and softens environmentally-stressed hands. Which I do agree with.

You can purchase this at Ulta, Amazon, Nordstrom, and a few other places –

Oh wait, I’m not done yet! I have 1 more contender!

L’Occitane hand creams – I love this one too! I got a set of mini ones at Sephora. I have several mini sizes that I love to keep in my handbag for when I’m out n about. These are very creamy, and each one smells wonderful. They don’t leave a greasy film as well, and leave your hands feeling soft for hours and hours. As you can see I have used up 1 completely, and 1 is halfway gone. I did have 1 more that was a cherry scent, but I have already thrown that one away. I used it all up as well.  I always try to have a mini hand cream for my handbags. It is formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.
